Your information and how we handle it.
This policy describes the information Fajr.club collects, why we use it, the service providers with whom it may be disclosed, how it is disclosed, and the safeguards used to protect it.

1. Scope and contact
Fajr.club is operated by PI MAKALLION LLP. This policy applies to the Fajr.club website, member account, 21 Day Fajr Challenge, wake-up calls, accountability features, community, and related support.

2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, authentication identifiers, and session information.
- Profile information: gender, preferred call language, country, city, postcode, and timezone.
- Location and prayer setup: latitude and longitude when you grant location permission, calculated Fajr time, timing preference, fixed wake time, and selected masjid.
- Telephone and verification information: your phone number, accountability partner name, relationship and phone number, OTP verification status, and consent-related setup records.
- Challenge information: challenge dates, current day, current and longest streak, challenge status, and wake-call settings.
- Wake-call information: call identifiers, destination number, call status, attempts, confirmation responses, spoken or keypad pledge result, timestamps, and escalation status.
- Fajr proof and logs: daily log date, verification result, submission time, and the Janamaz photo you choose to submit. Proof is a private accountability record and is not published as a public measure of worship or sincerity.
- Community information: posts and the name shown with those posts.
- Payment information: checkout, payment status, amount, currency, offer-code use and payment reference. Full card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Fajr.club.
- Technical information: browser, device, IP address, request logs, cookies, local storage, service-worker data, and security diagnostics generated through use of the service.
- Support communications: messages and information you provide when contacting us.
3. How we use information
- Create and secure your account.
- Calculate prayer and wake times using your chosen location and timezone.
- Send OTPs and verify your and your partner's phone numbers.
- Schedule and place wake-up calls, record confirmation, retry unanswered calls, and escalate to your verified accountability partner.
- Record Fajr logs, verify submitted proof, calculate streaks, and operate the challenge.
- Provide community access and display member posts.
- Process payments, refunds, cancellations, and payment disputes.
- Provide customer support and communicate service or policy updates.
- Detect fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and technical failures.
- Meet legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations.
4. Parties to whom information is disclosed
We disclose information only as reasonably required to operate the service, process a transaction, protect users, or comply with law. Current categories include:
- Clerk: account authentication and session management.
- Twilio: OTP delivery, telephone calls, speech or keypad interaction, and call-status reporting.
- MongoDB: storage of member, challenge, call, community, and Fajr-log records.
- Vercel: website hosting, server execution, queues, network delivery, and operational logs.
- Cashfree Payments: checkout, payment processing, refunds, fraud prevention, and payment records when paid access is enabled.
- Aladhan API: latitude, longitude and date used to calculate prayer times.
- OpenStreetMap Overpass: latitude and longitude used to find nearby masjids.
- Your accountability partner: your name and the fact that you have not confirmed waking when the escalation sequence reaches that partner.
- Authorities and professional advisers: where required by law or reasonably necessary for legal claims, fraud prevention, safety, accounting, or compliance.
- Business successor: if the service or its assets are reorganized, acquired, financed, or transferred, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
Information is disclosed through encrypted network requests, provider APIs, telephone or SMS networks, controlled database access, and legally valid requests. We do not sell personal information.
5. Accountability partner information
You must have permission before adding another person's telephone number. You are responsible for explaining that Fajr.club may verify their number and call them if you do not confirm waking. Partners may request removal by contacting us.
6. Cookies and device storage
Authentication providers may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain secure sessions. Fajr.club also uses browser local storage for installation preferences and limited interface state, and a service worker for app-like and offline behavior.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain challenge and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the record type. You may request deletion, but some payment, security, tax, call, or dispute records may be retained where legally required or reasonably necessary.
8. Security practices
We use HTTPS encryption in transit, managed authentication, OTP verification, restricted administrative access, provider access controls, environment-based secret management, and database access controls. We limit access to people and providers that need the information to operate or support the service.
No internet or telephone service is completely secure. You should keep your account secure, protect OTPs, and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
9. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, update, delete, or receive information associated with your account, or object to certain processing. You may withdraw browser location permission through your device. You may end your challenge through the product flow, subject to the Terms of Service.

10. Children
Fajr.club is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly offer accounts or paid services to children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
11. International processing
Some service providers may process information outside India. Where applicable, we use provider contracts and security controls intended to protect information during such processing.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
